Frugal Friday

Let's talk about the library! I love the library. I started taking M when she was little and she would pick out books and movies. A lot of people don't even think about using the library for movies but that's mainly what we use it for. My library has an online function where you can see what's new, put a hold on things, or even renew to avoid late charges. I love it! I couldn't tell you the last time we went to a video store to get movies.

Right now we have:

Madagascar 2
Hancock
August Rush
Dream Girls
Nick and Norah's Infinite List

We get these movies for 2 weeks. I procrastinate and usually watch them at the 2 week mark. I am not a big movie watcher so it isn't important to me to see something right when it comes out.

So, if you haven't, maybe check out your library. Oh and ours has a great kids area also.

Over from SITS.

I <3 the library too! I can't tell you the last time I actually PURCHASED a book. We can go online and search/request any book in our local library - or the surrounding libraries that exchange books. It's wonderful... and free!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I don't see Kelley spelled that way often either. Have a nice weekend.

We also found out that the Family Video chain rents three free kids movies at a time for five days each- this has been a quick easy in and out for us and the kids!!

I loved the library when it was right down the street...now it's kind of inconvenient to get to...but I will now vow to take Riley more thanks to your post.
