Time Game?

Do you play it? Have no idea what I am talking about? I will explain.

I started playing this game at work and now I play it at home too.
My job is pretty boring and I have way too much time to 'surf the net'. I'm not complaining but we all now that you can get sucked into the world wide web and have a hard time getting back out. At least my addictive personality is like this. The Internet is such an amazing place. While planning a day trip for our family I needed to know when my niece started playing T-ball. Instead of waiting for her parents to call me back....because I am impatient....I googled and found out her T-ball schedule. Isn't that just the greatest? All of this information right at your fingertips.

This can also be a bad thing because, like I said, you get sucked in.

Oh yeah, that game I was telling you about! Randomly through out the day I will shut down the Internet and make myself work for a predetermined amount of time. Normally its an hour or after I get done a certain thing.

Do you do this too?

OK we are so much alike. I totally get sucked in and should be doing work. I think I will try the shut down timed thing.

Thanks for stopping by blog! Yes, I am on my computer way too much too. The other day I was boiling some noodles and hadn't set my timer and I got so wrapped up on my laptop that I ended up with some very mushy mac n' cheese. Shame on me!

Sometimes I do that... I need to do it more often because I am ALWAYS sucked into the hole of the web and I cannot get out! :)

I don't play that game...but I think I really should. Perhaps I'd be a little more productive. It's amazing that so many hours can fly by while on the net.

I understand this so well. We're very slow at work right now so I spend all day blogging. Or googling. Or watching hulu.com. Or something online.

Just dropping by to welcome you to SITS!

This sounds waaaaaay too much like me, scary. Tomorrow I will be doing exactly what you describe when I am at my hideously boring job. I will also shut down the computer otherwise I will literally be on it the entire day surfing and blogging.

Wanted to stop by to say "hi" and welcome you to SITS. I know that you will enjoy being a part of this vibrant community of bloggers :-)

My two kiddos are my timer - within two minutes of sitting down, one of them usually needs something incredibly important. Like a snack or to tell me a story, etc.

Hard to mind the interuptions, but makes for difficult writing and visiting!

Welcome to SiTS!! Em

I complain all the time about the blocked internet access at work...but it's probably a good thing or I'd never get anything done.

Dropping by to welcome you to SITS - glad to have you join us!
